you rock Yuri ! Thank you for helping us so much :) great videos!

  2. Scott Baer

Thank you Yuri, brilliant education. Anything that promotes pain and prevents gain is definately off the arsenal list. Amazing how many situps we were forced to do back in the 70s in school, and was only doing damage.

  3. becci

balance!! I like the plank, Is that ok for keeping muscle balance through my core?

  4. Hector

great info and explanation. Thanks. Waiting forthe next video!!

  5. Dennise

    Thanks Yuri,
The explanation of why people (including myself) carry belly fat was amazing and Very educational. I can’t wait to get to the next video.

  6. Leon Reeder

I am a martial arts teacher and I have stopped using set ups for a long time. I have students who continue to use them against my advise. Looking forward to some new techniques. Thanks

  7. Thanks for the videos, very informative.

  8. Sarah

I am 64. Nice to know all the damage I have done to my body. I know a lot of that staff (12 years of medical). I’m pretty busy and don’t have much spare time.

I would like to get to the exercises. I am excited to see the correct way to strengthen my core.

    Thanks

  9. Caothang

Thank You very much! can’nt wait for the next video.

  10. Interesting information and I look forward to the next video. I am always looking for the right information for myself and the clients I massage.

  11. Nauroz Wein

Thank you for putting it all into prospective. Can’t wait for the next video.

  12. Larisa

    Hi Yuri,
It is all interesting, eventhough I know a lot of that staff ( I’m CMT), so I would like to get to the point (exercises) and not wait more for other vidio as I’m pretty busy and don’t have much spare time. Let me know if it is possible.

    Thanks,
    Larisa

  13. Bonnie

I never liked doing crunches they always kinda irritated my lower back. Plank seems to work for me, wondering what Yuri thinks of the plank?

  14. Kathie

Very excited and can see the light!
    Thank you.

  15. Linda

Thanks Yuri! An excellent explanation of why people get back problems, why we should NOT do repetitive sit-ups, or other repetitive exercises that target only one area, instead of a comprehensive program. I love to watch the power point presentation while you talk. It emphasizes the key points you want to get across. Looking forward to the next video.

  16. Deko

It all makes sense. It is amazing how people refuse to think (including myself) and buy all sorts of gadgets to get results quickly…..very good video. Thanks Yuri

  17. Cheryl

    Hi Yuri,

Can’t wait to see the next video. I love Pilates and do it 4 times per week with the other
days doing cardio, kettlebell, ball, wts. I feel I have a pretty strong core but anything that
will help in this area is a plus! Looking forward to your next video, thank you!

  18. sara

    i am confused
i never did set ups but since its bad is there other bad Exercises?
and about the picture of sitting people i always sit and stand with my bake at 90 degree
    is that bad too?
i need to rewrite my information about everything that i know -_-
    anyway thanks for the video

  19. Carolyn Parsons

Thanks for the information. Waiting for the other video.

  20. Gayatri

It is really thinking out of the box in terms of sit-ups. Thank you.

  21. melissa

Excellent, makes sense now. Thank you.

  22. kathy kane

    excellent and informative Yuri!!!

  23. Elena

Now I see the point, but looking forward to next important piece of information!!)

  24. Marcia

Good information. Balance, yes! I look forward to learning HOW!

  25. mike moffitt

I feel a little misled. I was under the assumption these were work out videos. So far they are just lectures about what not to do. They are good videos if I wanted to sit down for a lecture about the anatomy of my inner core but I am looking for specific workouts. Ive been using JillianMichaels.com workout since Feb 9, 2011. I have lost 40 pounds but I still have the love handles and a little lower belly pouch. I feel great and I like her workouts.I started jogging in April. I now have been using the treadmill trainer 5k for a couple months with her workouts. I have adapted it a little to keep from leg burn out on my run days. I love it. but I’m still looking for that little extra to loose that last bit of fat.

  26. Peter

I hurt my back years ago but have been able to manage that was until I had a total left hip replacement. I then quit smoking, put 40 lbs on my gut and since then I have suffered with lower back pain and sciatica in my left leg, and was diagnosed with herniated disks. I’m 55 and I started using your “Treadmil Trainer” series of MP3s 3 days a week and lifting weights the other 3 days, taking Sundays off for rest, and I have lost some weight and been relatively pain free! This video really explains the bio mechanics of how the back works and I can’t wait for the next video!

    Thanks Yuri

  27. Michael

    Hey Yuri,

I don’t have much concern about belly fat, but definitely need a much stronger core. will this series focus on the best ways to achieve a strong core? or is it’s focus primarily on losing the fat?

    • admin

      It will touching on both.

  28. Michelle Lambert

    Woo hoo! Can’t wait!

  29. Geoffrey Sherwood

    Thanks for the education

  30. Shaun

I’m curious Yuri. Can you produce for me or at least point me in the direction of, the science/studies that you have examined that supports this information regarding the proper way to work abs?

    thank you,

    Shaun

    • admin

Look at anything put out Dr. Stuart McGill.

  31. Diane

Hi Yuri, I have a question for you. I am 56 and have exercised incorrectly for many years. Because of this I do have many imbalances in my spine – the question is, how do we identify these imbalances (one side stronger than the other, etc.) and will the proper way of building a strong core improve these conditions.

I don’t expect medical advice – just what you have seen from your experiences. Thanks. Diane

P.S. you got me eating RAW and loving it – I hope you can get me moving and loving it as well!

    • admin

The easiest way is to do a self test. For example, you can a side plank – if one side you can hold for 30 seconds and other you can only hold for 15 seconds, then you know something’s going on. Alternatively, a good chiropractor can do a full physical assessment.

  32. Zev

Funny how you deal the with issue of “balance”. In Tai Chi and Chi Qong, the emphasis is not on muscle but acheiving a harmony in the body. Not sure about six-packs or even eight-packs, but it may do something for what goes on inside the body, and even lead to a level of flexablity that wasn’t there. The sexy part can wait, I guess, but by that time, you have achieved wellness which is far more important.

  33. Dennis

I can say that just setting back in my chair gave such relief to my lower back. Looking forward to hearing and learning more.

  34. Anne

Saw this video . Looking forward to the next installment. back problems don’t allow me to do sit-ups ,so HELP please .

  35. Mickey Krauss

WOW…very interesting! I have done MANY sit-ups for years and I do have a herniated disk…sooo I stopped sit-ups for now and will watch your videos for replacements and hopfully some help!
    Mickey

  36. Laure

I agree that traditional crunches are bad news, and the idea of balanced core development, but I have some concerns with the page that showed a green check mark above a picture showing a really bad sitting posture. That wide open angle of the third sitting position, that someone decided was great back in the day of zero-gravity research, AGGRAVATES and encourages pelvic organ prolapse and urinary incontinence in women, per Christine Kent, RN, who wrote Saving the Whole Woman. Posture expert Esther Gokhale would probably point out that it also causes the person to jut their head forward, not great for posture and alignment.

  37. I just finished watching the entire Video #2, and my 2nd. reaction {and comment} is that EVERYTHING you proved WAS INTUITIVE to me!!
I have never studied Exercising and/or “Physical Therapy” Concepts, so until now– I could not tell anyone that I KNEW “Sit Ups” {and many other exercise therapies} were CAUSING my Injured Back to get even MORE injured every time I did them! BUT–the Facts that they WERE harmful WAS/IS just so INTUITIVE to me, that I finally stopped paying the last “World Class P.T. Trainer.” I sued him in small claims Court, and because I could PROVE that my injured Back was more injured AFTER 9 Months of his QUACK exercises–I was awarded the “Judgement.”! I Won my case! He did not willingly pay me, so I used the Sheriff’s Service to go down to his Bank and and LEGALLY Garnered $3100.00 from his bank account!! I LOVED seeing the Look on his face as he got to his Bank, and was held back by the L.A. County Sherif while the teller paid me in $50.00 Bills!!

    So, your information IS FANTASTIC!!
But I know an E-Book is going to be offered for sale at the end of the FREE Videos, and If I had the Money I WOULD GLADLY PAY FOR IT!
But I have not been able to do ANY work for over 3 years, and I get no S.S.D.I. Payments! [ I have applied and Appealed twice {with an Attorney both times), But the Judges ruled against me twice, because I am taking Dilaudid and Opana for my I.P., and both Judges ruled that since I "must be" almost Pain free because of the Number of Dilaudids and Opanas I take-- I did not need S.S.D.I. because in my "pain free State," I must be able to work! Of course those Judges were MORONS, because we told them over and over again that while I am thankful for having Legal access to Opioids for my Pain, the Opioids are NOT curing anything! They were just treating the symptoms and NOT healing my Back!. ] So, I ain’t going to be able to pay for you Ebook–but I sure would LOVE to have one!

  38. THANKS FOR SHOWING ME AND PROVING THAT SIT-UPS ARE DANGEROUS!! I INTUITIVELY KNEW THEY WERE BAD FOR BACK, BUT EVERY SINGLE ASSHOLE P.T. BASTARD THAT I HAVE PAID THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS {Over 13 years} INSISTED THAT I HAD TO DO THEM TO ELIMINATE BACK PAIN!!

Now, I am Bankrupt–and having to live with my Brother, because I have “Intractable Pain” {#5 to #10 Pain, 24/7/365}!!!

These “experts” should LITERALLY be Eliminated!!

  39. This was so common sense, it was scary. Why do we not get this kind of information when we are young. These things need to be in our school systems as well.

  40. nelson hernandez

thanyou i lerning much more about my on preblems by waching the diveos.y houp to correct my back paint and get control of my life.

  41. Kerry

Lots of valuable info that all makes sense ,have already decided to stop with the sit ups and start wi
h your system as it becomes available

  42. Betty

Thanks for all of this amazing information I can hardly wait for the next video. I want to get started now again thank you for the info

  43. Theda

I always knew sit up didn’t work, and you just confirmed it

  44. Hi Yuri,

Sincere Thanks for shering this info with me. I have lumbar pain and I also have a spinal haemotoma in the T5 region which is very painful. You mention those gadgets. I’ve purchased one such gadget aka The AbTrak or AbCircle Pro in your part of The World. This gadget has caused muscle imbalance and more pain and so I had to quit using it.

I’m looking forward to your next video and I hope that you will have a really logical solution to this belly fat problem. Keep Up The Good Word My Friend!

    Thanks!
    PJ

  45. Oh, my gosh, I wish I had paged down before leaving that letter!!! I did not know the whole world could see it! UUUGGHH!!!! Too late now. In any case, This program really sounds great and I’m going to tell every one I know about it!!! Thx Tamara

  46. Hi Yuri, at last an informed explanation of this middle aged scourge. I’ve learned more about this subject in this video than I have in a life time of wrongful exercises & gadgets. I’m really looking forward to the next video. Great job. Best regards, Kevin

  47. Patrick

Gday Yuri, your videos are very interesting I’m looking forward to your next video – thanks

  48. Virginia Foster

This video is like so many mysteries I read. It leaves you wanting to keep going and find out more. Thanks.
    virgnia

  49. Will that really burn belly fat? I’m crossing my fingers.

  50. Stan

your vid was very enlihgting ,thanks again’lokking frd to the next one Stan

  51. Terry

    Hi Yuri
I found this video most interesting.
I know that situps/crunches don’t burn belly fat, I’ve proved it!
I decided to work harder and eat less and gained weight but didn’t lose any fat at all.
I look forward to your solution.

  52. steven

another great video. have to share this info with my situp crazy friends!

    • admin

Yes, please do Steven. That’s why I’ve put them together. Thanks for sharing.

  53. Thank;s for the info

  54. Deb

    Yuri

Thank you so much. I have a curved spine and have always struggled with back pain. Sit ups kill me, but everyone says you have to do them to strengthen your core. Now I see hope.

I am anxious to learn more and start trying it. I have already been sucking in my belly button and it makes my back feel better.

    hugs
    Deb

  55. yarnos

Hey Yuri this might be a bizzar question, but what is the web link or button to purchase these EXCERCISES?

  56. ellen geesey

Finally! Someone who starts at the beginning! I am 63 years old and most of the exercise programs seem to be geared to younger people. I am hoping that the exercises are simple, but powerful, like the first one you showed.
Chung Shi shoes are purported to strengthen the core muscles. Do you have an opinion on them?

    • admin

I’ve never heard of them but they sound interesting.

  57. Diane

great video, very informative, learned a lot. Thank goodness I have not been doing sit ups.

  58. Patricia Adams

In the begining the stop and go of the video nearly ran me crazy; but, once getting through that it was very encouraging. I never could do situp because I seen to pull on my back. Good to know something else is better.

  59. kevin crouder

The video did not finish. There was an explanation of the gimic type equipment that is out there and the comment, “Guys, do not fall for that.” then it stopped and I waited a while and it never started up again,…I will try again later. Thank you, Tracy

  60. I used to do exactly this for quite some time until a few car accidents put me out of the sit-up business. They are kinda hard for me to do now, or at least to any great length of time/repetition. Logic rules here in what they do to the spine and I wish this had been something I saw 20 years ago. Maybe there’s a chance to get rid of this gut yet!

  61. Hi Yuri, I also believe in the imbalance especially as I was reading the book, which I just received, how to loose back pain. So I am interested to see what you have to show next.

    Thanks Olga

  62. Colleen

I understood the concept of imbalance in this video. It really made sense. I have purchased machines then tossed them aside. I hate, hate, hate situps and do not do them, but I thought I was supposed to do them so there is guilt associated with this whole situp conciousness. I am looking forward to the truth of how to build a strong, balanced core. Thanks.

  63. Rad

Good staff Yuri, I hope to get more goodies from next one!

  64. robert ackerson jr

I didn’t enjoy video because every few seconds the video would stop playing and I would have to wait till it started playing again.

  65. myself

I do enjoy some theory with my practical experiences. Very well sir, keep it coming.

  66. George

I have been doing and teaching Karate for 30 years part of our traditional warm up is to do progresive crunchers and if I have a achilles tendon it is my lower lumbar area and what I’am getting from you is that crunchers are one of the contributing factors to my back issues, is muscle inbalance well I hope your right and I will continue to fallow your formula Thank you so far!

  67. Steve Ingham

Sugest using tha phrase “lower-back stress” rarher than “low back stress”.

The second phrase could mean reduced back stess which is not the meaning you wish to convey.

    Cheers,

  68. Colleen Williams

Thank you Yuri, the mast and ship example made everything very clear. I don’t do sit ups (since leaving the Army), but I understand that all the exercises for the core, will work off belly fat. That’s why I’m here.

  69. mary

The example with the ship and the mass was very clever indeed! I am still trying to adjust to this muscle imbalance explanation, since I have been ignorant about this aspect of health.
I didn’t realize that sitting in a chair after many years of study and work would have such consequences. These video’s do seem somewhat dragged out….. like we are progressing towards the big bang!

  70. Jamie

so far allot of interesting info leading up to something….takes allot of time to listen and watch…hope something is coming soon…otherwise will be a bit angry for all the time wasted….

  71. freda

lots of pre-info before the real deal….! Does put a lot of things in place now looking forward to exercises to replace trainer driven sit-ups crunches etc..maybe I can teach him a thing or two!!

  72. Dave

No offense but I just wasted 30 minutes watching The truth and sit-ups suck. I still haven’t heard or seen anything I can put to use. What on earth is the point of going on and on without delivering any useable info. Making something simple and brief is a desirable quality you might want to consider taking that approach. Apparently after sitting through that I will have to wait for any potentially useful info.

  73. Evelyn Lubben

Thank you so much for all the great information. I can’t believe I’m getting all this good information for free. I,m 78 years old with a bad back so I,m hoping I can take and use a lot of tthese suggestions. I agree with another one of your followers that the illustrations help to make it more understandable as to why something works. Thanks again! I’ll be sure to watch the other videos.

  74. bella

Great stuff and love the anatomy of it all. I am a total believer in the “Sit-Ups Suck” philosophy. I stopped doing traditional ab workouts about 2 yearw ago and have started focusing on total core strengthening workouts along with plyometrics and even after having had 2 kids my midsection/body has never looked or felt better (I’m in my 40′s and I wish I had this knowledge back in my 20′s). Yuri, keep up the good work!

  75. courtney

the first 30-45 seconds of this video wouldn’t load and would play 1-2 seconds then take about 5 seconds before it would play again, but once it got to the slides it was working fine and very helpful :)

  76. Eva

I like this video and I’m waiting for a new one and for more information.Thank you.

  77. Jayne

Super boring!!!! You could have told us all the information in 5 minutes. I have watched 35 minutes of videos so far and feel like I have completely wasted my time.

  78. Alan

Hi, I can only view the 3rd video – which was excellent, the 1st & 2nd won’t load!

  79. Kathy

I really liked the anatomy/physiology explanations you gave. I am feeling a bit of hope that maybe I could lose my belly fat once and for all!! You are making a lot of sense-than you.

  80. Marquita Kelly

    Yuri,
Sorry, i spelled my own first name wrong on my first email to you …long day. Well, I must say, I was impressed with the anatomy lesson. You know your stuff. I heard that you are experiencing pressure from sources that don’t want consumers to know the truth. Have you heard of a guy by the name of Michael Geary? He is also a trainer/nutritionist who shares your philosophy. He doesn’t mention the manufacture’s names, could that be why you are experiencing contention?

OK – I will watch the next vid and see what else you have!

  81. Marilyn

Why can I not pause the video until the whole thing is loaded? I am getting 5 words at a time, and then a 30 – 45 second pause until the next 4 or 5 words. By the time the next group of words loads, I have forgotten what you said before. I do not have this problem with other videos (of course I can pause them until they load if necessary). I am using a Mac computer. Could that be the problem?

  82. Shawn

Its great you really are doing us all a favor by letting us know about these truths. It is so true people have had the wool pulled over their eyes. We as a society today are so blinded by big corporations and especially food industries that we fail to really take a look at what is important. That is the health of our body and our children. Better food, better health, less money, a more focused society. Look forward to the next videos!

  83. Josh

    Great Video!

  84. safe

    Yuri always speaks the truth
I cant wait to see the rest of this

  85. Steve

Nice tips aand great video! Is dis the only vid or is ther more?

  86. Tricia Kemp

Great information! My spine is in bad condition, so I’m looking forward to learning how to stabilize. At 72, I’m still active and want to continue for along time.

  87. Cecil Clarke

    Good Afternoon

First of all, would like to thank you for taking the time to send me this educational and informatve video

Found it both interesting and enlightening

Have a girl friend that suffers from lower back pain

This may help improve her condition, thus giving her a better quality of life and relief from a terrible pain

Yuri, thank you and will be on the look out for your follow up videos

    Wish you all the best,

    From Cecil

  88. wady cancel

  89. Great info. Thanks I’ll be watching and working on it.

  90. George Torres

Makes sense…can’t wait to see the next video!

  91. Michelle

Very god inf ..love it and i’m whit you …. i did a lot of abs sit ups and some other ones and cardio and nothing. Today i se that i can work my ABS CORE in other exercises and it’s much more benefit for me ..and the cardio no need to do 40mint ..just some 10 mint hight intense .. Send out the 3… Thanks very much for you r work and suport online…

  92. Heather

That was great !! Totally makes so much sense, and everything I have felt and believed but no one has in this industry has admitted to be correct. Yuri, you are the best and I am very thankful that you are taking this set to helping US, and not caring of all the flak you personally are getting for publicaly confirming this information and saving people so much money and time to exercise without thinking they must do 45 minutes to get a beautiflu, sexy body. I personaly prior to my accident was a runner, a highly energetic young lady ( still am young) and had no pain, and spent my extra time running and keeping my body in tip top condition. For years of back pain that was caused from a fall in my kitchen over a dishwasker door, I was cleaning a potand I turned to put it away after drying and I had closed the door prior to washing the pot, but the door to my complete unawareness had sprung back open and I hit the floor hard after it took my legs out from under me because I am hyper so I tend to move fast especially when I am trying to get it done. a few months later I healed, had a baby and then 9 months after having my baby we were in a auto accident verseing a flatbed diseal and we were in a toyota king cab truck. I have had severe pain and very limited mobility with any exercise, I did physical therapymany times 9 months worth and then had to go back but didn’t, they would have me contort my body and tell me that this was to help build my core bake to a stable condition and I would feel less pain in my life. However that is not what happened I actually was in more pain during and after going to physical therapy then if I did just stretching with paying attention to what pulled, and what hurt ME and MY body. I had a Ah-Ha on this video, and all my feelings of what every exercise video I EVER tried to purchase in the HOPES that MAYBE the video could be different then those that have been sold on the market before, and could hold the miracle exercise that would help me stabolize my body and reduce my severe daily, second by second pain that I have endored for the past 8 years since my fall, pregnanc, and then the accident finished me. Thank you I can not wait to get the next video and start applying and trying your body stabalizing exercises.

  93. sharleen

    looking forward to the videos

  94. Stacy

I liked the ship analogy. It is always easier to understand a concept with a comparison and a picture. Thanks for all the information. I have been passing it along!

  95. sabrina

Thanx….Great info ,,waiting for the next video.

  96. mona

thanks Yuri, for putting this on video format. I toally agree with what you are saying; and, the part about do less get more done. How does this relate to pilates? ofrn times in gym environment, members compensate by pulling with head and shoulder, without developing the base at core.

  97. admin

It’s coming shortly. Stay tuned to your email over the weekend.

  98. Justinas

Thx Yuri !!! You are THE MAN:) You aren’t one of those guys who just try sell their stuff… You ROCK!!!

  99. Lisa

Thank you so much for this video. I struggle with lower lumbar herniations and I used to be an athlete. I attributed my lower back pain to either being too rough on my body during sports earlier in life, or from all the excess weight I’ve put on. I am excited to see the next few video’s.

  100. Nice video Yuri,i wasnt and still im not fan of doing sit ups mostly cause of back pain so i’m looking forward to next video.Cheers…

  101. anne

Interesting. I have tried sit ups many times over the years and not succeeded in getting flatter abs!!! Just a sore neck. Looking forward to the next video. I have been almost 100% raw now for 3 weeks – just a couple of cheats – which I didn’t enjoy and lost 2kg.

  102. Tyler

Great video, Yuri! Looking forward to the next one!

  103. danny

but even if that is the case, i still respect what you’re doing. you seem to be truly motivated to help people improve themselves

  104. Ronald

    Hi Yuri
Fantastic material.Iam 75 and on about 60%raw food now.I am reasonably fit and active no medications.Your road map for increasing those greens in my diet is teriffic.I keep a couple of hundred birds and have been feeding them daily a lot of fruit and veg now Iam eating like my birds.
The Videos are a work of art to watch.I have Speedbit Accelerator which I downloaded on your earlier advice.I have no problem streaming you tube,so my connection set up works ok.There is quite a lot of buffering sometimes every 4 seconds. This is such important material Iam wondering if it could be made as a downloadable file for uninterupted viewing or whether you can send a word document.Thank you for all your help. Your work will make a huge difference for those who take advantage of it.
    Regards Ronald

  105. danny

interesting info, these points all make a lot of sense. in the past i’ve done sit ups and felt my hip muscles getting tight and it didn’t feel quite right. also i’ve always felt that sitting reclined was better for my back then sitting straight up despite what i’ve been told. i’m looking forward to the next videos, but i have a daunting feeling that the fourth video is going to try and sell me something, am i wrong?

  106. Tareen

Come on, why do i even have to wait for next videos. you got them done so just send me all of them together. can’t wait :D

  107. adegboyega adewumi

Thank you for this wonderful information and breaking the myth about sit-ups, looking forward to he next video

  108. rosa

good information can’t wait to see the next one.

  109. I Believe that you uploaded the same video twice. The video number 2 is the same as the video number 1.

    Thanks,

    Adam

  110. john

Yes’ I go with you! Waiting for more information. Thank you.

  111. Bob Crawford

    Yuri,
This video may explain why after doing P90X for 45 days I developed a pain deep in my gluteus maximus that went into my flexors. I’ve been recuperating for months now and still suffer from pain. Can’t wait to see your next video..

  112. Paul Steinway

    Yuri,
Thanks for the great information. Can’t wait to hear more. I have bought into the new way to get lean and look forward to learning more.

  113. Elvira Nevarez

Thanks for your efforts in this great info appreciated very much!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  114. Elvira Nevarez

I am so great full for all your information It has help me so much because I am just beginning to strength exercise.

  115. Hi Yuri,

Thank you for this information. I knew a lot of it already, but it was nice to have the details broken down. It makes sense that the core needs to be strong and balanced, and that having an area either too weak or too strong will cause problems. I will pass this information on to my clients. I do my best to educate my clients, (I’m a massage therapist) to help them help themselves. I appreciate that you help so many.

    Thanks again Yuri!

    Terese

  116. Martin

Great stuff! Can’t wait for the next vid!

  117. carl

Yuri,i am a devout follower…great information. You are the reason i have lost 55lbs and on my way to a fitter me.Thank you!

  118. Todd Choi

ive always been a subscriber. your videos make sense to me. cant wait for the next 2 vids. im kind of excited. haha

  119. Alecia Cole

    Yuri!
I LOVE YOU!! This video touched on things that I’ve heard before (probably from YOU) regarding sit-ups not working for building abs, and that the core is made up of more than just one set of muscles. (but, I didn’t know the names of each of them, and probably will never remember them!). You explained everything, and accompanied your explanations with graphics, and they were all simple enough, and in laymen’s terms, so that we could all understand.
I had always been very thin my whole life. I’m now 64 (very YOUNG 64 :* lol) and when I started into “the change”, my metabolism changed. It did not bother to tell me it was changing, so I went on eating whatever I wanted as I always had. Long story short, I gained bunch of weight, had knee replacement surgery because of it, begged my doctor every time I saw him to DO SOMETHING!! Finally,he put me on bioidentical hormones which immediately increased my metabolism – as well as my libido and energy – and I started losing weight immediately. Went from Size 10 jeans to Size 4!! Yaaay! Just needed to tone and get leaner. But, hormones stopped working and I’ve gained back 25 flabby pounds.
I’ve tried every diet book, video, web site, food delivery system, etc. to no avail. But, of all the web sites, I love yours. You seem so sincere in really wanting to help ME!! You are really dedicated to your mission and I really don’t believe you are out just to make money from us overweight peeps. ‘Cause you give too much stuff away for FREE!!! lol
    So, I’m sticking with you!!

Plus, you are cute and sexy. If I were a lot younger and you were a lot older and neither of us had relationships, I’d be on you like white on rice!! [or, should it be BROWN on rice? Healthier.
;-) ] Don’t worry, though, I’m not going to stalk you. Promise. lol I am, however, going to stick with your program. I’ve essentially done away with all the other sites. And now, I can’t wait for your next video. I’m so glad I found you!! I have faith in you. And in me. I’m gonna’ lose that 25 lbs. plus 5-10 more and tone up. I’ll be the leanest, healthiest 60-something you ever saw!
Seriously, Yuri, THANKS so much for all you do!!

    Alecia

    • admin

Thanks a lot Alecia. That’s funny.

  120. Awesome! Can’t wait to see your next video Yuri. It seems so logical!

  121. julie

very interesting info. Never thought about the consequences ……

  122. Gracie

Very helpful Yuri!thanks a lotcant wait for the next video!

  123. Cynthia Sims

    Hi Yuri,
Within the past couple months I have found your web-site and I have watched #1 & #2 belly fat video and have found them VERY interesting. I can’t wait for the others. I am wondering if you could give me some insight to what I can do for my personal situation? Here it is. I am a 48 year old single mom; 5’5″, 180 lbs.. I have been diagnosed with the following things: Coranary Artery Disease, boarderline Diabetic, Fibromyalgia, “”Gastroparesis”", IBS, Celiac Disease, some food allergies, and intolerance to eggs. I am so confused on what I can eat and even how to start taking some weight off and getting back into good health & shape. I did some gardening 5 days ago and I am still really sore. I like being active but my body just can’t take it. Do you think I will be able to do whatever you have in store for video #3 & #4? Any help is GREATLY appreciated.
    Sincerely and searching, Cynthia

  124. sue

Really looking forward to the next video yuri. I`m fed up of the endless sit ups with no real results.

  125. Gail S

Hi. I know from firsthand experience that sit-ups hurt – the lower back and the neck – and always ended up with a sore lower back and a headache. Like most of us, I’m allergic to pain so quit doing them years ago. I am eagerly awaiting your next installment on what to do now that we know what NOT to do.

  126. Robin

I thought core stability/ ship example was explained well. Thanks again for the information!

  127. Natasha

THanks for explaining the effects of over exercising certain muscle groups. Oh how vanity can be our actual demise.

Waiting with bated breath for the next video.

  128. Ofelia

Great information Yuri, I completely agree. Having gone through the pain of having a herniated disc, this is wonderful information Yuri, i saw several doctors for this and each of them always told me the same thing ” you need to strengthen your core”, and of course whats the first thing you think of….. I need to do more situps!! Its ironic really, thank you so much for what you do, I am really looking forward to the next video.

  129. Really appreciate what you’re doing with this video series. I personally felt like I knew everything I needed in order to develop a strong core and you are doing an excellent job of proving me wrong. I cannot wait for the full series to be released so that I can share it with my mom. She is always complaining about the stubborn little bit of belly fat that will not go away.

Thank you very much Yuri and keep up the great work.

P.S. I am addicted to Eating For Energy. That is the most valuable piece of information I have ever read in my life, and I do a ton of reading.

  130. Wendy

Excellent Video and what you say is all true.
Got to strengthen all the muscles to support your spine.
A chiropractor diagnosed that my glutes were not working, so gave a few exercises and now my back is much better. I can hardly wait for the rest of the videos.
    Thanks,

  131. Diane Flynn

    Thank you, amazing information!

  132. dewaryboy

love the vid, i am eating lots of veg and drinking lots of water to try and lose fat in general, is this ok or not

  133. YURI

Just want to say thank you very much. Ive been doing EVERYTHING wrong, even though im in good shape I dont want to damage myself so it will be your way from now on.

    Many thanks

  134. Edward

I think everything you do in life requires the understand of why you are doing things, from what I can see the general population have been told to do sit ups etc and never been told “Why” or “Why not” to do them, just do them so we have pretty much followed what we have been told so i think it is important to understand why you shouldn;t do sit ups and the importance of a balanced / defined core which is what I am definitely after. Keep up the good work Yuri.

  135. Gidacska

This is amaizing. I am watching your youtube videos and you helped me so much already. I lost weight, feel better in my skin so far so that I have to get a new dress or a very good seamstress to alter my wedding dress!!!!
Looking forward to learning more :)

  136. kimberly conner-robson

I keep hearing that great abs are made in the kitchen. Will you be covering that? or the foods that attribute the most to belly fat?

    • admin

      Yup, in video 4.

  137. Paula

Great video. I’m really looking forward to your next. I am in week 9 of P90X. There is a disc named AbRipper. I don’t know if you are familiar. The workout is intense and I’m seeing results. But I’m concerned as to whether this workout will be damaging to my spine for the longterm. Again, it’s intense. If you are familiar Yuri will you comment? I run anywhere from 20 to 32 miles per week and have never been able to get rid of stubborn belly fat. If you can educate me on the proper way to do this – that won’t cause me longterm damage, I’d really appreciate it!

    • admin

Yes, I’m familiar with it. My approach is the complete opposite. I think you’ll find it refreshing and more challenging – in a new way. The next 2 videos will dive in into HOW to lose belly fat.

  138. Rose

    i want the info…can’t wait

  139. Margaret

how interesting this is after a life long routine of this very thing..can’t wait to get more info. thanx!

  140. dean

I knew there was some reason I disliked situps so much and they never seemed to help with my belly fat. Am looking forward to the next viedo. Keep up the good work and telling the truth.

  141. Daniel

Hello, i hope you can answere my question:
Im 18 years old and for 3 or 4 years ago i was stupid enough to take sit-ups and similiar exercises everyday in 2 months, i was sitting alot too. After that i have had backpain, especially when am running. When i try to take a couple of sit-ups (which i never going to do again) my back hurts after 4-5 repetitions.
So i was wondering how i can fix this problem? Is the solution to strengthen my core?

    Great video btw.

    • admin

Yes Daniel, that would be part of it.

  142. Joe G

Thank you so much for the knowledge

  143. Dan

I like the idea of working the entire core which makes a lot of sense not only in your core but the rest of the body. Thanks.

  144. Julia

Very informative! I have been down the road of backpain and muscle imbalances so I know exactly what you’re talking about! Looking forward to the next one!

  145. Sue Schaber

Make sense. Look forward to getting into the exercises you recommend.

  146. jeeper

An eye opening video,it makes a lot sense as any kind of imbalances will eventually lead to undesirable outcomes, in this case the imbalances of the muscles attached to the spine caused by sit-ups ,crunches, and wrong liftings will lead to undesirable outcomes such as lower back pain, slipped disc,etc…..
Many thanks for the information,it was great

  147. Linda

What’s going on with the video, taking forever for it to stream. Keeps on stalling. Hear 2 seconds worth and then on pause for 30 seconds for the whole video :(

  148. Great stuff. about 15 years ago, I had the Ab Rocker…I couldn’t figure out why my fat tummy was going nowhere. LOL

  149. Shirin

    Thanks Yuri,
I really like the way you give examples. Looking fwd to ur next videos and getting rid of the ab fat for good.

  150. Sarah

    Great info !

  151. Jd

I love these videos!! Thank you so much for creating them and sharing!

  152. Nicky

sometimes we hear advice but care not to follow it…..maybe this time its an exception!
ive exercised for many moons and crunched my way to almost insanity, ive always blamed my bad lower back on my physical job when sit-ups (crunches, v’s, reverse crunches etc) maybe well be part of the equation……….roll on No3
    Nicky (london)

  153. Odell

Yuri, I have been checking you out for a couple of months now and tried a few things and I really enjoy your approach to fitness. So many things in this video describe me including the fact that I think I may be having some disc problems. I injured my back in the gym probably over a year ago and I would give my self rest and then go back to the gym only to quickly re-injure myself, even after I modied my workouts. So unfornately I have not worked out in months, but I’m ready to go back. I am looking forward to the next video so I can build the foundation I need to safe and successful in the gym.
    Thanks

  154. B Laura Mazerolle

Thank you YURI, it is pretty comprehensive and I am still looking forward to see it all. At the beginning of viewing this video, there was a small problem download it, but after a few seconds, it came through very well. In the meantime, my body is healing from being on day 3/3 of a water cleanse and yes it is under recommendation of a good doctor. Have a superb day!

  155. Sharon

Am so excited about seeing the next video. I can understand why you said that a lot of people were upset you creating these video’s but I am happy that you are letting people know the truth about what it takes to get those sexy abs so many people have been longing for. Can’t Wait!!!

  156. Jim

    Good information.

  157. this is a very good presentation/video thank you for so much information I was looking for. I had the Ab Rocker myself..lol. I am doing your Total Wellnes program as well as working out. I am looking forward to your next presentation/video!

  158. Val

Thanks Yuri! This was very informative, looking forward to the next video.

  159. Joanna

    Wow!
    What an eye-opener!
Can’t wait to see the next video.
    Thanks alot Yuri

  160. Magda

    I can’t go beyond 0.03 :(
I really would like to watch this video.

  161. Devon

I also couldn’t get it to load ….. I’ll try my work PC later this morning.

  162. I’m sad I haven’t been able to watch the videos. Load, load, start to play and stall. I am on my iPad but will have to try again on my laptop later. Thanks.

  163. Loren Snesrud

I am really disappointed with this video because it would take me a couple of hours to watch it because it is so slow in downloading. I hope to get more information on what to do and not so much what not to do.
    Thanks Loren

  164. Maria M.

    Hi Yuri,

    Beautiful work! Thank you!

Looking forward for your next video! It seems that the more you give us, the more we want. And since (I imagine) that’s your aim, you have absolutely succeeded!

    Keep up the good work.

  165. Gurv

Thanks for putting these videos out there. Im beginning to wonder if the workouts i used to do at the gym are the cause for this tightness in my lower back which, when i feel i need to stretch, it clicks to release. My physio couldnt give me much of an explanation other then generally over worked which after watching this makes a lot of sense! – a fair few of the movements i used to do focused pressure on my lower back, just hope its not serious damage for life.
Anyhow, eagerly awaiting the next 2 instalments.

  166. beth

wow… amazing ! keep up with the great work !!!

    Love & appreciate, Beth

  167. Sharon

Hi, can’t get beyond the first 3 seconds. How can I stop the video buffering? Others have had no problems.

  168. Gaynor

Why does the man in the pic on the ad have six pack and ripples and the lady has smooth?

  169. andy

    Hi Yuri

I’m a Physiotherapist here in the UK. Although the information you presented on the spinal anatomy was, in general ok, it needs to be ‘sharper’. Not easy without excessively complicating it, but some of it was oversimplified. I understand it needs to be accessible to the non-medically trained but incomplete information can be misleading and eventually dangerous. I don’t want to preach but getting a physical therapist friend to go over your material with you may make it sharper and ulimately more effective.
Looking forward to your next installment.

    Andy

  170. Aijaz Hussen

The video is buffering cant watch properly.

  171. faye

YOU ARE AWESOME, EVERY THING YOU SAY MAKES SENSE AND NOTHING BUT THE TRUTH. THANK YOU

  172. kml

Bring on the next video! Thxs for the great information.

  173. JB

Very informative! looking forward to the next video.

  174. Ahmed

I can’t agree more, waiting your next video

  175. Mary Anna

Hope it’s not planks!!! My doctor has told me not to do these due to shoulder and elbow problems! My ONLY option are crunches right now – unless, Yuri, you can advise me of something else!

  176. Vikram S

Yuri ! I’m looking forward for the next video, It would be nice if you could focus on specific fat burning workouts and also discuss some treadmill workouts.

  177. Cindy

Yuri, this explains so many things for me. I can FINALLY understand why my body ‘argues’ with me about a variety of exercises. I also understand now why I have to have a proper balance in my core ALL the way through in order to achieve a fitness level that will feel better, look better and last longer. You really are something special. Thank you for this.

  178. Deb

Dag nabbit! I wasn’t going to leave a comment until I saw Jim Burnett who is 81 say he is looking forward to doing the exercises. I am excited to see what you have in store for us Yuri. If Jim Burnett at 81 can do ALL of the exercises I sure can try to do the same. Cheers Jim for your input and keep up the good work Yuri.. now where did I put that sauna belt Yuri says I can throw it away!!!!!! :)

  179. Robin

Thanks Yuri, it was very interesting and a great use of metaphors and analogies to get the points across. I look forward to the next video.

  180. Eric M.

you best show a actual movement / exercise and not hype us up to buy something

  181. john k

You couldn’t be more correct in that people look for the quick solution to weight loss and fat reduction through short cuts and gimmicks requiring little to no effort. Knowledge is power!! Keep the information coming! Thanks!

  182. Christian

Gracias yuri!! Tus videos son excelentes!!

  183. marcus colon

Great stuff this my life changing exercise that will redefine my abs forever.

  184. Jenny

Same as Ruby nothing but start and stop and no info :(

  185. domenico

you must love leaving us all in suspense huh? i am hooked on your videos and really looking forward to the next couple of days

  186. Diane

good info – looking forward to the next one

  187. Jamal

WHoa i cant wait i’ve been doing cardio and its not working on my belly fat but since i started insanity its been really good but i still want to hear what you have to say Yuri thanks for the tips plenty of people will be happy with whatever you tell them Remember HARD WORK AND DEDICATION YOU WILL GET THERE

  188. Toby

Hey Yuri! i was just wondering if there is anything you can suggest to make your videos load up faster? For some reason, both videos load for 5 min to only show 3 seconds of it! Im positive you have great information but it won’t help if we can’t see it. Sorry for the Inconvenience

    -Toby

  189. Debbie Kallis

thanks for the info. No wonder I have back problems. I definitely need to restructure my workouts

  190. Lere

I so agree with this – great information!

  191. Kathy

Thanks for enlightening us! I have tried to find exercises that target both flexion and extention and they are VERY hard to find!!! Can’t wait for your next video!

  192. Bro your video shows nothing where are the work outs all your doing is talking

  193. Julie

Thanks Yuri, this was really great information. I’m currently working my way through the fitterU workouts and really enjoying it. Your passion for helping people really does show through your work. Looking forward to watching the other videos.

  194. Adrian

This is amazing, i knew how bad situps are, but the way you put it, i never want to try it ever again :)
I am so excited for the next video

Thanks a million Yuri for this great stuff :D

  195. Angie

    Can’t wait Yuri!!!

  196. June

The video gives better understanding of the intervertebral disks, and just how they function. But, I wonder if I’m ready to jump into this more-demanding-than situps workout, or would it be better to do some preliminary core-strengthening exercises first? If so, how does one know when they’re ready for the “big time”?

  197. Christine

Great information as always, Yuri. Thanks!

  198. Lisa

I’m excited for the next video!! I’ve been following eating for energy and your you tube videos for about 4 months and they have changed my life. I am expecting the same here and know that you will deliver. Thanks for all your coaching and great resources!!

  199. Ruby

    Hello,

Thanks for the idea, but it did not work for me. The very first Video that you promised, was a thank you for watching the first video??? which I did not get. Secondly, the video was skipping and pausing and I could not understand much of anything that you were saying. I watch a lot of videos on my computer so, I don’t think it is my system. I would love to have these videos if you could think of a reason and a solution to the fact that I had this problem. Thank you again. Look forward to your reply.

    Ruby

  200. Dave

Great info, looking forward to the next video!

  201. judy

Good stuff!!!! You are speaking to my heart! Sit-ups really do suck….especially if you already have a bad back. So exciting to learn a better way……! Thank you Yuri! Bring it on!!!!

  202. john

nice video, cant wait for the next one.

  203. Cameron

Amazing stuff as usual Yuri. I’ve always known that most everything advertised is just a gimic. If you research Vince Gironda he was a firm believer that situps and crunches were a bunch of crap. Looking forward to the next video.

  204. johnny exama

once again you have prove you are my fitness god. great video. love ya

  205. Thadz

Thanks Yuri, you are really revolutionary

  206. Awsome like it.
